Gaming History: I consider myself a gamer over quite a few genres, ranging from MMO's all the way to FPS, but my true love is Fighting games. I remember growing up playing SF2 and MK1 for hours with friends when I got a chance. I reveled in a chance to go to different places to get a moment to play arcade machines: the local skating rink in my small town because it would give me a couple of hours in front of MK2, the grocery store with the Samurai Shodown cabinet, the small Spanish panaderia with the rare cabinet of Killer Instinct... In short... I fell in love with fighting games and played them every chance I got. Fast forward to now. As a medical professional, the moments that I do get to game are spent either in casuals with friends, or sometimes online. A lot of the time is spent researching new games and strategies, or learning as much about the different fighting game scenes as I can. I like going back and finding out more about games that I didn't know much about before as well. Looking forward to the MK9 Tournament scene that is growing and hope I can get back into it as well.
Editing: I actually do not have any formal wiki-editing experience aside from minimal edits to various random mmo-wikis. With the Shoryuken Wiki, I'd like to actually help work on the MK9 section, particularly in the hard-coded information. I noticed a lot of damage splits haven't been filled in yet, and I'd be more than happy to help with that.
