A born and bred gamer from Anchorage, Alaska, currently residing in Hawaii. I've been playing all sorts of video games for as long as I can remember, most particular of which are fighters and shooters. I first played Street Fighter II in the Philippines at the age of six and have been on-and-off other fighters since. Before the release of Street Fighter IV, I played Guilty Gear XX A Core and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.

I love to discuss technical gameplay aspects of all sorts of games, such as active damage frames, special invulnerable frames, exploiting character movement, lighting, physics, AI, and so on. I'm also a nut for game development and can't keep myself from looking up developer blogs, concept art, or otherwise finding out how the developers go about making their game. I frequently participate in community discussions for games like Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, Quake Live, and now Street Fighter IV on the Shoryuken boards.

My dream is to one day be a game developer myself. As a hobby, I use Photoshop to create various textures for game mods, which include alpha layers, normal (shadow) maps, reference and reflection maps, and phong and rim lighting. I pride myself on AI and mechanical script/trigger algorithms. I'm teaching myself and slowly learning how to animate and create real 3D environments. I'm currently attending the Leeward Community College in Hawaii to work on a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science.
