Notable Changes from USF4 to Omega

  • General/Movement Changes:
    • Walk speed Mantis increased (Forward 0.045 > 0.055, Back 0.030 > 0.040); Crane decreased (Forward 0.055 > 0.035, Back 0.045 > 0.025)
    • Jumps: Much shorter distance (Mantis and Crane)
    • Mantis Forward Dash: 4f faster (19f > 15f), shorter distance
    • Mantis Back Dash: 7f faster (27f > 20f), shorter distance
    • Throw: slightly shorter range
    • Mantis Chains: Mantis normals can be chained in the order L > L > M > M > H, alternating between Punches and Kicks of the same strength.
      • You can start or end at any point along that sequence, and standing/crouching makes no difference
      • Chained normals can only be special cancelled into EX moves or Super
      • Chained normals have different properties (generally lower damage, worse frame advantage)


  • Mantis Normal Changes:


  • Crane Normal Changes:
    • Crane 5MP - new attack animation, moves forward
    • Kyotetsu - 3MP - New input, Gen's old Crane 5MP overhead animation


  • Special Move Changes:
    • Jyasen (Crane Roll) ([4]6+P) - Requires 60f charge (was 50f)


  • Super/Ultra Changes:


  • Moves with ending Input Buffer:
    • Mantis 5LP (+ chained), 5MP, 5LK, 5HK; 2LP (+ chained), 2MP; Hyakurenko (P~P~P~P, meterless)
