General Strategy
Bryan aims to run a strong and safe keepout gameplan, controlling the space between him and the opponent with pokes that stop approaches, like f,f+2, a fast forward moving mid with lots of pushback on block and f+4, which launches on counterhit, comboing into f,f+2. f,f+2 is especially good as a whiff punisher due to its range, speed and how it grants an knockdown on hit. Bryan’s jab has to be mentioned, as it’s an integral part of controlling the game with any character, but Bryan especially relies on it as he lacks a lot of tools other characters have.
