Talk:Samurai Shodown 5 Special/Charlotte

Discussion page of Samurai Shodown 5 Special/Charlotte

I believe it would be a good idea to have a standardized format for all character pages, at least per-game for starters. I'm going to start working on Charlotte's page until I get something solid that meets several criteria, and then copy that format and fill it up with the relevant information for other characters.

Criteria I'm using:

  • As short as possible. The page must contain minimal amount of text, and be as physically small as possible. Little scrolling / reading.
  • Compatible for various screen sizes. Different users are going to have different resolutions on their monitors. Some widescreen and some not. I'm going to test and make sure the page looks alright in all common variations used today.
  • Easy to navigate. This means, you should be able to quickly find the information you're looking for without even using a Search box.
  • Display all relevant information. Don't post useless information.
  • No opinions. A wiki page should not have opinions on it. Everything written should be factual, written in a formal language.
  • Aesthetic. Be easy on the eyes. Don't just mash information together.

It will take a while until I build all the tables correctly to display the page in a neat way. Till then, refrain from editing more information into it (like more attacks, combos, etc... no point right now) consider it in visual-WIP state.

Moreover, to keep the information nicely trimmed and organized, the usage of sortable collapsible tables can improve the quality of the page ten folds. However it seems that collapsible is not enabled on this wikia. odd. I'm not sure if I want sortable alone.
