Street Fighter EX2 Plus/Controls and Notation

Basic Controls

Joystick (Facing Left):

  • Used for movement, jumping and blocking
  • F.png - Move forward
  • B.png - Move backwards; standing block
  • D.png - Crouch
  • Db.png - Crouching Block
  • Ub.png OR U.png OR Uf.png - Jump (in respective direction)
  • Qcf.png - Quarter circle forward (QCF)
  • Qcb.png - Quarter circle backward (QCB)
  • Hcf.png - Half circle forward (HCF)
  • Hcb.png - Half circle backward (HCB)
  • Dp.png - Dragon punch (DP)
  • Rdp.png - Reverse Dragon Punch Motion (RDP)
  • 360.png - Full turn. Complete 360° rotation movement (360°)
  • 360.png,360.png - Double turn. Two complete rotations, resulting in a 720° motion (720°)

Buttons:

  • Lp.png - Light Punch / Jab
  • Mp.png - Medium Punch / Strong
  • Hp.png - Heavy Punch / Fierce
  • Lk.png - Light Kick / Short
  • Mk.png - Medium Kick / Forward
  • Hk.png - Heavy Kick / Roundhouse

Advanced Controls

  • B.png OR F.png + Hp.png OR Mp.png - Throw
  • Some characters can also throw with Mk.png AND Hk.png
  • (While being thrown) Throw command - Tech Hit
  • Lp.png + Lk.png OR Mp.png + Mk.png OR Hp.png + Hk.png - Guard Break: costs one bar of meter
  • Input a Guard Break during a special move or super to perform a Cancel Break for one additional bar of meter
  • Lp.png + Mk.png OR Lp.png + Hk.png OR Mp.png + Lk.png OR Mp.png + Hk.png OR Hp.png + Lk.png OR Hp.png + Mk.png - Excel, can also be done while airborne
