Abubo is a Sub Boss in ROTD. He's playable by inputting this code on the character select screen: Up Up Up Up Down Down Down Left Left Right
Abubo is your typical slow, big-button grappler.

Abubo's First Impact is really good anti-air since it's got a massive air hitbox. However it can be ducked pretty easily.
B+C (ground) A,A,B,B,D
B+C (air) A,A,C,D,D
6A - Abubo chest dives into the air. Good for wall hit resets into command grab. Bad for using it in combos or just raw, unsafe on hit if you use it this way.
3A - Abubo slams his arms up and down onto the ground. 3 hits, causes a knockdown but can be canceled into specials or supers on the first hit.
3C - Abubo slides his arm across the ground to smack your toes. Hits low, unsafe on hit, cannot be canceled. I suggest you avoid this outside of sneaky toe punches.
623A - Abubo beats his chest like the gorilla he is. Good anti-air since his head is the hitbox, great disjoint.
623C - Same as the light version, but Abubo slams his arms on the ground causing the earth to quake. Crouching, jumping, dodging or rolling nullifies the quake.
236A - Abubo punches you out of the air. Can be held for a tic of armor that triggers on medium/high moves. Not bad for catching tags, guard cancels, etc.
236C - Abubo punches your toes (again). Can be held for a tic of armor that triggers on medium/low moves.
41236B - Abubo carries you to the wall by pushing you. The further the distance, the more hits you get, but the hits do 0 damage till you get to the wall.
41236D - Same as light version but has two additional hits at the end of the push.
63214A/C - Command grab, has no whiff animation. A good utility for corner carries or guaranteed wall hits. There are no differences between the light/heavy versions.
63214-63214A - Command grab, no whiff animation. Abubo monkey slams you into the ground.
63214-63214C - Command grab, has a whiff animation. Abubo monkey slams you into the ground, now with more ground slams! Launches you slightly less further than the level 1 version.
236B+C > 236B+C: Abubo does not have a unique duplex attack with any character so he uses generic attacks.

If you pin your opponent in the corner, use 63214C+D to option select them into a command grab if they stay and a first impact combo if they jump. :)
