JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future/Vanilla Ice/Introduction

Vanilla Ice (ヴァニラ・アイス Vanira Aisu) is an antagonist featured in Stardust Crusaders. He is the last Vampire created by DIO and one of the penultimate Stand Users the Joestar Group faces upon infiltrating DIO's Mansion. After the group is split up, he is sent to take out the team consisting of Avdol, Polnareff, and Iggy. Vanilla Ice is a Stand User controlling his void-based ability, Cream, to battle.

As a character, Vanilla Ice is an incredibly powerful one, boasting the strongest oki and very powerful defensive/offensive options, he is a real menace to go up against. Being one of the characters with Instant Air Dashes (IADs) that are relatively easy to perform, opening up his opponent isn't big of a deal, especially combined with his other options like his fast roll or high priority dashing normals. Vanilla Ice is one of the strongest characters to turtle with - his normals in Stand ON have extreme priority and fast recovery, which can make it hard or even impossible for most characters to contest or whiffpunish.
Combined with all that, and the fact that he has one of the highest damage output, Ice can effectively end the game with a single confirm, while making it hard for his opponent to challenge him in neutral. Vanilla Ice is considered to be the best tournament legal character, easy-to-learn and high reward gameplay makes V.Ice a perfect pick for a fast headstart.
