Eagle is a non-playable character in the first Street Fighter game as one of the ten CPU fighters.

Eagle is a very outwardly strong character. He has an arsenal of all high damage, fast, unblockable moves with great range, especially for their speed. If he corners you, the round is often over instantly. He can also play a game of brutal patience if he must.

What Eagle is arguably best at is his incredible punishing power. Those high damage, fast, unblockable moves he has are great at whiff punishes, and can punish a hefty amount of moves on hit. All of these factors make turning a favorable situation while fighting Eagle difficult. Eagle has mostly favorable matchups against the board, except against the often-banned Shotos and Sagat.

Eagle's not a flawless character; he only has one move that can hit crouching attacks. His movement overall is also a little lackluster due to not having a great walk nor wavedash, and his jump and jump attacks, while good, is a little slow. He can definitely play an aggressive game but a more neutral-based style of Eagle is more common and sustainable.

Eagle is a great pick for those who want a character that's strong and threatening and can play a good neutral game. He's consistent, strong, and definitely a good pick for a character.

In SF1++, Eagle is selected by holding Lk.png and Hk.png at the title screen or VS. Screen and pressing Start.

Advantages & Disadvantages
Pros Cons
Extremely fast, high damage, unblockable moves Somewhat weak movement
Great anti airing with his neutral jump attack and generally very safe and rewarding pokes Struggles to deal with crouch attacks at longer ranges
Great punish capabilities with his HP Terrible matchup against Sagat (luckily Sagat's tournament banned)
