A link is a general term in many fighting games, and usually refers to a sequence of attacks that put your opponent in enough hit or block stun to follow it up with another attack, without canceling an attack to do so. Links are usually denoted by a comma in standard notation.
An example of a link in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo is Dee Jay's crouching jab, standing strong.
