Sonya is very effective in this game, both of her stances are effective, kali sticks are particularly of note.

Hand to Hand (tae kwon doe)

1 : good to throw out because they expect a cs into back 3

back 1

2  : quick mid, pops up

back 3 : great quick low you can end the string here to be safe because they'll expect another low

back 4 : great high damage low, fast and high damage

1,1 : same as 1

back 3,3 : double low good

1,1,CS : can end it with back 3 which is a safe mid

Weapon (kali sticks)

1 : safe

down 1 : good poke

3 : low, unsafe

down 3 : good poke

back 3 : incredible, high damage mid, safe on block

forward 3 : slide across the screen

2 : safe

4 : safe

back 4

forward 4

1,1 : safe

1,1,2,4 : safe

1,1, up 3

1,1,2,4,3 : ends in low, unsafe

1,1,2,4,back 3: ends with mid, safe

2,4: safe

2,4,3 : same as above

2,4,back 3: same as above

throw: throws your sorry ****** ass across the screen, this throw is one of the weaker ones, all throws are worth using though.

down back 1: great turtle tool and restands

down foreward 2: good projectile to use fullscreen

down back 2:

forward forward 3: funny move

sonya has safe 50/50s, kali sticks 1,1,2,4 and 2,4 are safe on block and both lead into 3 (an unsafe low) or back 3 (a high damage overhead)

you can turtle with the kiss, tae kwon doe is worth using as well due to the back 3,3 stagger.
